Welcome to the No Bully For Me Survey page.

About the No Bully For Me Canadian Workplace Bullying Survey.

This survey on workplace bullying is the first Canadian survey of its type.

Since knowledge truly is power (as we are fond of quoting), and we have up to now been relying on information gathered mainly in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia, we felt it important that we began to gather Canadian facts and figures on workplace bullying.

The questionnaire should not take long to complete.

Please work through each of the questions, checking the most appropriate alternative(s).

Please try to answer every question. If however you come across one which you feel unable to answer, leave it blank rather than selecting a response which doesn't reflect your experience.

Some frequently asked questions about our survey.

Why do you need my name and email address?

This is to prevent the same person voting more than once.

For the figures to be worth using we have to have some safeguards against multiple or malicious submissions.

What will you do with my name and email address?

Nothing!

We never give out personal information to any third party.

Can I see the results of the survey?

Once the results begin to be statistically relevant (i.e.: enough people have taken part) we will make the results available.

We will renew the results regularly as more people take part, but expect patterns will begin to emerge quite early on.

What will No Bully For Me do with the information?

We will use the information we gather to use at our presentations, in submissions to WCB, Health Canada and other government bodies, as well as on our website where new visitors may find support from knowing that their experience is not unusual or uncommon.

When will the survey end?

At present we expect the survey to be continuous and open ended.

What will completing the survey do for me?

Many people find that completing the survey helps put some of what they have experienced into the past.

Others have said that it helped release them from the power the workplace bullying experience had on them.

Whatever effects completing the survey has on you, be aware that it will help countless others to feel less alone, less afraid and, we hope, will also alter the attitude towards those who have been bullied at work in workplaces across Canada.
